Keyven Lewis – President
I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and have been working with computers since I was in high school. My fascination with computers started back when I was a freshman with the Commodore 64. I graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in 1987 and attended Prairie View A&M University afterward, where I studied computer science with minors in mathematics and naval science.
During my tenure as a college student at Prairie View, I left school to join the US Navy (via the Delayed Entry Program) where I won the Navy League Award given to the most outstanding recruit during naval boot camp.
Today, to give back to my community, I serve on the Desoto T-STEM Advisory Council, and serve as the VP of Community Relations and Marketing on the Cedar Hill Education Foundation Board. It is important that we support our community and various charities as much as we can throughout the year.
What we do.
After working in corporate America for a little more than 27 years in multiple IT roles, I have opened CMIT Solutions to assist small to medium-sized businesses plan and proactively manage their information technology environment in support of their business goals, rather than be a source of pain and frustration.

Our executive team funds market research, selects, tests, and vets the products and companies with whom we do business, and assures that we have additional support channels that other companies do not have, due to the size and strength of our network. Our entire system collaborates to bring our collective client base the best technology support available today.
